There’s something about alcohol that makes desserts taste so much better. Even if you’re not a drinker, many of these amazing boozy desserts have cooked off the alcohol … and for those of you that do drink, I included a few “adults only” desserts and beverages in the mix.
Neither of my adult kids drink alcohol (okay, my son will have an occasional cocktail, but very very rarely). Still, we have a “rule” at my house: whenever faced with the question of whether or not to add alcohol in your cooking, always add alcohol, especially to baked goods.
In case you have been living under a rock and haven’t hear, #Choctoberfest 2018 is going on right now! If you haven’t done so yet, go enter the giveaway! You could win a huge chocolate prize package worth over $400. Wouldn’t that make your holidays brighter?
Warning: Not all of these recipes cook off the alcohol, so save those for the adults only!
Irish Cream Mocha Latte Magic Bars – ooey gooey goodness loaded with nuts and chocolate on a chocolate cookie crust with a drizzle of dark chocolate. My friends refer to these bars as “orgasm” bars … cuz yeah, they’re THAT good. This one’s safe for the kids to eat. My kids love them!
