This was another one of those “quick I need some calories in me before I rush out the door” kinda breakfasts … I’ve got cherries, how about a cherry cheesecake smoothie? I started rummaging through my cupboards, looking for stray graham crackers. I found 1 1/2 crackers in an opened pack, and nothing more. Well, that’ll have to do. (Later, when I had more time to search, I found two full unopened boxes.)
A little yogurt, a little cream cheese, a couple graham crackers, a bit of vanilla and cinnamon … and some pretty sweet cherries. Oh yes! The perfect dessert smoothie … and it’s even pretty healthy, despite the cream cheese.

- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Total Time: 5 minutes
- Yield: 1 - 2 servings 1x
Ingredients
- 8 oz. vanilla lowfat yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/8 – 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 1/2 oz. light cream cheese
- 1 or 2 graham crackers
- About 15 large pitted cherries, frozen
- 2 – 4 Tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Put everything in the blender and blend till smooth. If needed, add more milk or a few ice cubes to get the smoothie to the consistency you desire.

YUM! We enjoy smoothies several times a week at our house. I’ve added oatmeal, and flax seed, but adding graham crackers is a new idea I must try soon. Thanks for sharing this.
