This super easy chocolate fondue cooks in the microwave, so it’s ready in less than 5 minutes. It will take you longer to assemble the dippers than it will to make the fondue!
You see, since I made the cheese fondue, I had to make a chocolate fondue too! Because a fondue party just isn’t complete without both chocolate and cheese, right? I added a little twist to this recipe by putting in just a pinch of cinnamon and a tiny tiny smidgen of hot pepper. The pepper gives it just a little tingle and the cinnamon sweetens up the dark chocolate. I seriously love cinnamon with chocolate. It’s something they do often in Mexico and it just works so well.
The thing I really love about fondue is it connects people beautiful. Sharing food is an intimate thing, and with fondue, your whole party is dipping in the same pot, indulging in wonderful melty-ness and good conversation. Add a little wine and your party is complete. So simple!
