Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large pear
- 1/2 – 1 oz. brie cheese, cut into small chunks
- A pinch of cinnamon
- Pineapple Red Wine Cranberry Sauce (recipe here)
- 1 oz. chopped, toasted walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a small baking sheet with silicon baking mat.
- Slice the pears lengthwise and use a melon baller or spoon to remove the core.
- Sprinkle the pears lightly with cinnamon and set cut-side up on a baking sheet. If you like, you can brush lightly with maple syrup, honey or butter.
- Bake the pear at 350 F. for about 10 minutes or until tender. Remove from oven and stuff the holes with chunks of brie cheese. Return to the oven for a few minutes until the cheese is nicely melted.
- Move the pear halves to serving plates, top with the sauce and sprinkle with walnuts. Enjoy!
