- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour + 1/2 cup white whole wheat flour (use more whole wheat and less all purpose for better heart health)
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 cup avocado oil (or other neutral-tasting vegetable oil)
Instructions
Mix together the flours, baking powder and salt, then stir in the oil and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to make sure the oil is fully incorporated. Store in an airtight jar in the cupboard.
Notes
Some recipes call for 1/2 cup shortening or butter in place of the oil. If you use butter, make sure you store your bisquick in the fridge.
