Ingredients
Scale
- About 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 – 4 cloves garlic, smashed with the side of your knife and peeled
- Italian Seasoning
- Granulated garlic
- 1 loaf french bread, sliced in 1/4-inch slices
Instructions
- Put the garlic in the olive oil and let sit for 15 – 30 minutes to infuse the oil with garlic. Spray two cookie sheets with cooking spray.
- Preheat the oven to 400 F. Brush both sides of each piece of bread with the garlic infused oil, then sprinkle lightly on both sides with Italian Seasoning and just a bit of granulated garlic.
- Bake at 400 F. for about 10 minutes or until the toasts are crisp and golden brown.
Notes
These little crisps are great served on a fruit & cheese plate, or use them along side (or on top of) soups or crumbled on salads. You can also grind them up to make tasty Italian breadcrumbs.
