All the flavors of the holidays in one healthy smoothie to make your taste buds dance like the ballerinas in the Nutcracker! With pumpkin, maple, vanilla, cranberries and pumpkin pie spice, this smoothie is sweet, creamy and delicious.
I’m really getting into smoothies lately. I think it’s Linda’s fault. She has this Smoothie Tuesday party on her facebook page Project Healthy Ever After every Tuesday and I want to have something good to bring!
Once upon a time I was a bartender at a Mexican restaurant, so we made lots of margaritas and blended drinks. I learned how to make so many different flavors … and had a lot of fun mixing up the flavors when we got a chance to “play” behind the bar.
Then I grew up, got a “real” job, got married and had a baby. Smoothies seemed like the right thing to feed a baby, and that boy just loved everything I blended up for him. I made tons of fruit smoothies for that kid. He is almost 18 now and he still loves a good smoothie, but the size smoothie he wants these days is MUCH bigger.
I don’t know if I can get him to try this one, but oh I wish he would … I think he’d love it. Cranberries are sooo good in smoothies. I was frankly blown away by the taste of this one.
