Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb. mixed figs & raspberries
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 Tablespoon vanilla
- 1 Tablespoon bourbon
- A pinch of smoked salt
- A pinch of cayenne or other ground hot pepper
- About 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in a medium saucepan, stir well and bring to boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Reduce heat to a simmer and cook over medium low heat, stirring occasionally, until the jam is nicely thickened, about 45 – 50 minutes.
- Pour into jar(s) and refrigerate.
