Ingredients

For the spicy Asian coating:
- 5 Tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 Tablespoon sesame oil or Mongolian fire oil (or a mix of the two)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Asian spice mix
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne or other hot pepper (or to taste)
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Sriracha sauce, to taste
For the snack mix:
- 2 cups each: rice chex, corn chex, wheat chex
- 2 cups mixed nuts
- 2 cups rice crackers
- 2 cups sesame sticks
- 2 cups wasabi peas
- 1 cup Blue Diamond Wasabi & Soy Sauce almonds
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the butter and oils with the seasonings and sauces.
- In a large bowl, mix together the chex, nuts and rice crackers. Pour the seasoned butter over the cereal/nut mixture and stir to coat the cereals.
- Microwave on high for 2 minutes, stir, then microwave for another 2 minutes and stir again. Microwave for 2 minutes once more, then stir in the sesame sticks, wasabi peas, and wasabi soy flavored almonds.
- Spread out onto a flat, clean surface to cool, then store in an airtight container.
