Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups fresh cilantro leaves & tender stems, packed
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 – 3 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- Juice of 1 small lime
- 2/3 cup chopped green onions (with tops)
- 1/3 cup roasted, salted cashews (or almonds)
- 1 – 2 Tablespoons or so of chopped jalapeno (more or less to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in a mini food processor and process until smooth, adding water as needed to get it to blend smoothly.
- Freeze in small plastic containers. Add to salsas, soups, pastas, sauces, beans or rice or to add flavor to chicken, meat or fish dishes.
