Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup St Brendan’s Irish cream liqueur (or Bailey’s or another brand, as you wish)
- 1 chai tea bag
- Sweetener to taste
- Whipped cream (or light whipped cream) if desired
Instructions
- Microwave method: In a large mug, pour the water and Irish cream and add the tea bag. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 – 2 1/2 minutes, depending on how hot you like your tea. Let steep for 3 – 5 minutes. Remove the tea bag and add sweetener as desired. Garnish with whipped cream if you like.
- Stovetop method: Heat the water to boiling, then pour your cup. Add the tea bag and let steep for 3-5 minutes. Stir in the Irish cream liqueur. If you want it sweeter, add sweetener of choice to taste. Garnish with whipped cream if you like.
