Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 Tablespoons real maple syrup
- 3 Tablespoons peanut butter
- 3 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 15-oz. can of garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drained (or equivalent cooked, drained chickpeas)
Instructions
- In a handi chopper or food processor, blend all ingredients until smooth. Add water to get the desired consistency. (I added 2 Tablespoons.)
- Put the hummus in a bowl and drizzle with a bit of maple syrup and sprinkle with a bit of pumpkin pie spice. Serve with fresh apple slices, dried apple chips, pretzels, graham crackers or other crackers, fruit or cookies.
